Access to the Platform
Delegates can register and enjoy the full access to APVRS 2021 Virtual via the APVRS Congress System. The login credentials for the APVRS 2021 Virtual are as same as your APVRS Congress System account. Two separate confirmation emails will be sent to you after processing your online registration and settling the registration respectively.
Kindly note that the congress system will be closed on Dec 8 – 9, 2021 for data merging. Registration and payment completed after Dec 10, 2021 (Fri) will take up to 24 hours for account activation.
The APVRS 2021 Virtual will be held on Dec 11 – 12, 2021. To allow delegates get familiarize with the interface (Desktop + Mobile App) earlier, the virtual platform will be open from Oct 18, 2021 (Mon). You can first view all program details and bookmark the symposiums you are most interested in.
Paid delegates can also participate in the abstract voting from Oct 18 – Nov 14, 2021 on our virtual platform to select your favorite abstract(s)!
Following the congress, all content including the recordings of the live sessions will be available on the virtual platform to watch on-demand till Mar 31, 2022.
On Saturday, Dec 11, 2021, at 12:00 (GMT+8), the APVRS 2021 will officially kick-off with the Opening Ceremony, followed by the Tano Lecture and Plenary Session.
Browser: Google Chrome is recommended for the best experience. However, we do not recommend Internet Explorer as some functions are not fully supported.
Software: Please install Zoom in advance (Free to download) as this is the only way for delegates to participate in live sessions.
Session Content
The APVRS 2021 Virtual will be a showcase of world-class scientific contents featured with live Q&A and panel discussions, where you will actively interact with some of the world-class vitreoretinal chairs and speakers in real time. Use the Q&A section during the live sessions to interact and ask your questions to the speakers and chairs!
In addition to the invited scientific program, you can have access to 300+ E-posters, video presentation, partner pages available at all times.
The full program can be found on the “Theatre” on the menu bar – where you can find the session time in different time zones and all other details. “Theatre” is also where you can access to the session room(s) during the Congress. If you would like to view the program at-a-glance/search session by speaker name, please check “Agenda” at the menu bar.

Technical Information
This platform is designed to be easily accessible for all delegates. To access the platform, you simply need a device with audio (desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone) and a stable Internet connection. Kindly note that you can only watch sessions on one device at a time.
For delegates who opt to use mobile device to join the congress, you are strongly encouraged to download our Congress Mobile app for best experience.
